- Hits: How do we as human beings know God?
In doctrinal discussions, the point that is repeatedly made is that if man's knowledge of God is not self-evident, at least knowing God is an innate knowledge. In this regard, verse 30 of the Chapter named the 'Romans' is often mentioned. It says: 'So set thy purpose (O Muhammad) for religion as a man by nature upright - the nature made by Allah, in which He hath created man. There is no altering (the laws of) Allah's creation. That is the right religion, but most men know not' (30:30).
